Hello friends,
Here's a Christmas card I made using non-holiday supplies. I love coming up with stuff like this :)
A panel of Shimmering Candy Red Cardstock mounted on white card base is stamped with the sentiment from the Crafter's Companion Textures Artist Collection - Words of Wonder Set 1 stamp set. It's heat embossed with Ranger Snowflake Tinsel Embossing Powder -- which gives a sparkly holiday touch.
The Santa "belt" is created with the Die'sire Classiques Olivia Ribbon Die diecut out of Black Pearl Shimmering Cardstock with a strip of silver glitter cardstock threaded through.
I tied a simple silver elastic cording to the center and added a couple mini jingle bells. Such a simple...yet classic "Christmas theme" design. All from non Christmas supplies.
What have you come up with for holiday card this year? Check out all the fun stuff over on our Pinterest Boards. Or keep up to date with the latest news, tutorials and projects over on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our Blog.
That's it for today. I've got a lot of projects to finish up so I can share with you all.
Happy Stamping,

Since most schools are back in session by September, I decided this page would be encouragement to achieve. I'm loving how it turned out! Here's how I made it:
- Stamp image from Textures - Journal Jotting stamp set, using Chipped Saphire Distress Ink.
- Stamp sentiment from Sentimentals - Ornate stamp set, using Fired Brick Distress Ink.
- Stamp images from Sentimentals - Ornate stamp set, using Scattered Straw Distress Ink. Add Yellow stickles glitter glue to some of the stamped areas. Set aside to dry.
- Die-cut the small bird and wing from Just For Men Paper Pad Brights Collection. Use GB4 Spectrum Noir Marker color in the stars on the wing piece.
- Sponge Chipped Saphire ink around edges of wing, and Fired Brick ink around edged of bird.
- Adhere wing and rhinestone to bird body. Attach bird to calendar page using dimensional foam tape.

Spectrum Noir Colorista is COMING!
Hey friends. Have you seen the latest Crafter's Companion and Spectrum Noir news. We are soooo excited!!! This is BIG I tell ya!
OK...so check it out. Adult coloring is HUGE all over the world, and it's here to stay! We can't wait for you to see...better yet...get your hands on the new Spectrum Noir Colorista products coming later this month. Adult coloring at it's finest. And it doesn't matter what level of coloring you are at...this is for EVERYONE. Trust me....you're gonna LOVE IT ALL. And that translates into WANT IT ALL. NEED IT ALL. GET IT ALL.
Mark your calendars for the world launch of Spectrum Noir Colorista on HSN with Sara Davies Tuesday, August 30th.
In the meantime...you can get started coloring with the NEW Spectrum Noir Coloring Background Stamps. You will be able to purchase them over at Crafter's Companion.
Here's something I colored up with the Beautiful Butterfly Background Stamp.
These stamps are perfectly sized for A2 cards. I trimmed down my finished panel and layered it on white, then adhered to an A2 card front. The sentiment is from Crafter's Companion Textures Artist Collection Words of Wonder - Set 1. I stamped it in gold on yellow cardstock.
I stamped on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock with Black StazOn Ink. Then I colored with Spectrum Noir AquaBlend watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. Once I was finished coloring, and it was dry, I added Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen on the butterflies.
The fun part of coloring these types of images - or any adult coloring book images - is that you don't have to rush. It's a relaxing process. Take your time and enjoying it. I snapped a few pictures during my coloring process. It's cool to look back and see the progress.
Another thing I did, for added interest and dimension, is used a craft knife to cut a portion of the large wing, then popped some dimensional foam adhesive underneath.
I really enjoyed coloring this "adult coloring" style image. I'm just a beginner, so if I can do it...anyone can. Check out all the "Colorista" inspiration on our Pinterest Board. Wowzers! Loads of amazing colored samples by our design team. They will knock your socks off!

August 2016 Calendar Page
...and then all the sudden....BAM! It's August!
Here's my calendar page for this month. Totally lovin' how it turned out!
I used the Crafter's Companion Walls and Corners stamp set from the Textures Artist Collection to stamp the sun rays. Quick and easy - just inked up with 3 colors of Distress Inks. Then I tapped on some Moonlight Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen, and stamped on the page. Super sparkly in real life!
For the fun and funky sunglasses, I used Sheena's A Little Bit Scenic - French 50's Cafe stamp set. I treated a piece of white cardstock with anti-static pouch, then stamped 3 different colors of Distress Inks. Then I quickly added clear embossing powder and heat embossed. Once cooled, I colored the lens area with Spectrum Noir Markers IG8, IG6, IG4 and IG2. Lastly, I used a Versamark Ink marker to color over the glasses, added clear embossing powder, then heat embossed.
After trimming out the sunglasses, I inked around the edges to finish them off so the white paper didn't show. They look really cool! I adhered the green and blue glasses flat, then popped up the red pair.

Have a happy day!

June 2016 Calendar Page
It's June, and things are heating up outside! We're supposed to get up to 118 today!!! I think I'll stay inside and craft ;)
For my June calendar page, I created a wonderful little beach scene. Somewhere I would LOVE to be right now!
I colored the look of water and sand on the panel using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens. Moonstone from the Perfect Pastels Set and Sand Dune from the Vintage Beach Set.
I used 3 different Crafter's Companion stamp sets. From the Sheena A Little Bit Scenic - Silhouette Highlands, I used the sandcastle. The umbrella is from Sheena A Little Bit Sketchy - Only Words - Through The Rain. The sun is from Textures - Walls and Corner.
Designer Tip: Using partial images is a great way to get more bang for your buck with stamp sets. The umbrella image on this project is located on a large sentiment stamp from the Through The Rain set. It worked perfectly for this little beach scene!
To stamp the umbrella, I inked it up with Ranger Salty Ocean Distress Ink, and then colored over that with the Blue Topaz Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen. For the pole, I colored it on the stamp stamp with the Charcoal Spectrum Aqua Marker from the Essentials Set.
For the sandcastle, I inked it up with Antique Linen Distress Ink and then colored over that with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen in Sand Dune from the Vintage Beach Set. I inked the flag on the stamp using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen in Solar Red from the Summer Time Set.
For the sun, I inked up first with Neon Electric Yellow Ink, then dabbed a bit of Neon Electric Orange ink, then colored over with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Moonlight from the Shades of Spring Set . To make the circle on the sun, I punched out circle from white cardstock and applied ink direct to paper with same neon orange and yellow inks. Then I brushed on Moonlight Sparkle Pen. The circle is adhered flat and trimmed.
I'm going to enjoy looking at this simple little summer beach scene for the entire month.
Summer hugs,

NEW O' Holy Night Edge'able
YAY! More NEW Edg'ables over at Crafter's Companion USA! Christmas goodies galore. I'm totally lovin' all the wonderful new products CCUSA has been releasing - especially all the dies.
Here's a card I made using the NEW Die'sire Edge'ables Christmas Only Words - O' Holy Night die
Using white cardstock, I die-cut and embossed the word border die. To add the black embossed areas, I left the paper in the die and colored them with a VersaMark Marker, Next, I went over the same areas with a Memento Tuxedo Black Marker, then carefully removed the paper from the die, sprinkled on the clear embossing powder and heat set.
This new word border die works together perfectly with the O' Holy Night Create-A-Card die from the new Die'sire Create-A-Card Christmas Collection. The sentiment is stamped and embossed on a die-cut star with crushed glass glitter around the edges.
Using Kraft Cardstock, I die-cut and embossed the CAC die twice from. With the die left in place, I used it as a stencil to apply the white ink. The ink really brings out the details of embossed areas. On one of the panels, I cut the off trees and arch, then popped up that piece with foam adhesive tape on top of the full cut out piece. The Edge'ables border is popped up on top of all that, with crushed glass glitter underneath.
The card base is black cardstock sprayed with Sheer Shimmer Spritz. The stamped rays, from the Textures Artist Collection - Walls and Corners stamp set, are embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. I die-cutting some stars using the CAC die and Gold Dust Shimmering Cardstock. Three of the stars are adhered over baby Jesus, 4 more are at the top of the card.
Inside the card, I stamped the rays with Desert Sand Memento dye ink. The sentiment is stamped and embossed. The angel is a die-cut from the CAC die using the Gold Dust Shimmering Cardstock, then embossed with Liquid Platinum EP. I really love how this card turned out.
