Edge'ables Christmas Snowflake Sneak Peek

Today I get to share a sneak peek at one of the brand new Christmas Edge'ables Dies that are being released the end of this week.  Here's the NEW Snowflake Edge'ables Die...

This die will work with any Christmas or Winter themed project. I diecut and embossed the Snowflake die using Candy Red Shimmering Cardstock (on SALE right now during the Birthday Celebration Week). To make the single snowflake, I just diecut a scrap piece of the red cardstock on the larger snowflake -- trimming out as necessary to shape it.

You can just diecut the cardstock and skip the embossing for a more simplified look. But the embossed detail of this die is beautiful. 

For the card base, I embossed white cardstock using the NEW Nordic Christmas Scandinavian Village 6"x6" Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from Moonbeam Meadows Christmas - Rudolph & Friends Stamp set -- heat embossed in red.

Glitter and sequins...yes please :)

K Card Tutorial

Isn't that sooooo cool?!!! This is called a K Card. They're fun to make - and a great surprise for the person receiving it. People love opening cards that have movement and action.

Score BIG Today

TGIF! I'm already up and creating in my craft room. What will you be doing today? Maybe a bit of crafting, or shopping, or both? LOL Here's another project I made using Crafter's Companion - The Big Score Board.

 

This octagon box was also shown on HSN earlier this month. Here's a snapshot from the show. All the projects you see in the pic were created using The Big Score Board! GREAT STUFF!

I made my box using the Indulgence 300 gsm high quality cardstock, so it's super sturdy.

To decorate the lid, I die cut a tag from a scrap of Indulgence cardstock and embossed the sentiment in white. The die-cut butterfly is covered with glitter.  A few rhinestones, satin ribbon and fringed lace finished off everything.

These stamps are from the Festive Cheer set and colored with Spectrum Noir Markers. I made a green tag embossed with Crafter's Companion Petite Dot Embossing folder. The red doily is diecut from Crafter's Companion Doilies Die set. I folded it over the top of the bag and stapled it shut. Isn't it perfect?! I've also added crystal lacquer and glitter accents.

As you can see...I've colored the image to match the designer paper. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and colored with Spectrum Noir Markers LY1, DG1, LG1, GT1, GT3, LG1, EB2, EG6, EG7, EG8, IG1, Blender.

Moonbeam Meadow Release Day!

Hey there crafty friends! I'm SUPER excited to share another card design from the Brand New Paper Crafting Range from Crafter's Companion

Moonbeam Meadow

I used the NEW Peace Angel stamp set from the Moonbeam Meadow Christmas Collection.

 

I stamped the images with Memento Dandelion Ink on Sectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and diecut the piece with a Crafter's Companion Die'sire Essentials Square die. I lightly shaded the moon and stars with a light yellow marker and then added glitter. I stamped the image again on another piece of white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black - colored - trimmed - added glitter and adhered with foam adhesive.

Spectrum Noir Markers: FS2, CR3, BG1, CR2, DR6, DG2, DG4, LY1, LY2, CT1, GB1, GB8, DG1, DG2, Blender

The scalloped square is diecut from Candy Red Shimmering Cardstock. I finished the card using a top fold white card base embossed with the Angelica & Adam Starry Eyed Embossing Folder.

I can't begin to tell you how much I love creating with these images. So CUTE!
