Goodies for my Dad :)Truck stamp is from
Printworks. I stamped with Black
Stazon on watercolor paper. Colored with
Aquapainter and a few different inks (watercolor crayons, watercolor pencils,
SU Classic Inks). The ground speckles is also a stamp from
Printworks. Stamped "dad" on truck with alphabet set from
CTMH. Card base is
Stampin'UP! Naturals White. All the rest of the paper and
Cardstock is from
CTMH. Corners punched with
SU Ticket Corner. Used E
xacto knife to cut slit for tag. Sponged brown ink around edges.

Tag stamp is from
Printworks. Tag punched from
Marvy Uchida punch. Used the ground speckle stamp and lightly stamped all over the tag then sponged brown around the edges.

When I was a kid...my dad used to take the family to the lake all the time. It seemed every weekend during the summer we were having a blast on the boat. Water skiing was always part of the fun. So when I found this postcard...it immediately took me back to those days. My brother and I have lots of wonderful "funny" memories of back in the day! ha! Like I said...this is a postcard...not a real family pic :)
The page is 6x6. I used
CTMH Paper and
Cardstock. DAD chipboard letters from Unique Pages and I sponged brown ink all on the edged and surface. Family dangle is from
CTMH. I cut a piece of
cardstock and used Crystal Effects to attach it. I also smeared white chalk over the top so the etched letters would stand out more.

Stampin'UP! and punched with Photo Corners punch. the strip behind DAD is also stamped with Canvas Background. The DAD brad is from Karen Foster. It was actually a brighter green color so I used a Sharpie marker to color in darker to match.

I Remember When... is a stamp from
CTMH. Stamped and also sponged around edges and all over lightly. Then I used
VersaMark pad and inked up the entire piece. Embossed with Thick Clear Embossing Powder about 6 times. When completely cooled I cracked in a few places. I think this is called Paper Crackling or Emboss Crackling? Something like that. I'm sure there's a tutorial on SCS somewhere.

I put the page in Picture It
Pageframe and used twine to hang. These frames are really cool! They come in several sizes perfect for scrapbook layouts. I found these at a local scrapbook store.

As you can see...these frames allow plenty of space for
dimensionals and
embellishments! You can easily slide the page in and out which means you can change the pages often with ease. It's also a great way to display a beautiful card!
