Timeless Tote Bag

Hello my crafty peeps! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of fun memories and blessings. I can't believe Christmas is less than 1 month away! Are you ready? NOT ME! ha! Anyhow, here's a fun project idea for gift giving on any occasion.

Isn't that fun! I used The Ultimate Tool and Timeless Card Pack from Crafter's Companion to make it. Super quick and easy.

I doubled the tote handle for extra strength. Adding the fancy brads with a rhinestone adhered on top gave it a classic finished look - and added helped to keep the handles attached.  Add a gift tag and some tissue paper and the gift tote bag is complete.

DIY Gift Box Stack

Hello friends! Hope you had a great weekend. Last week I was a bit under the weather...so didn't get much of anything done. Which means this week I'll be working like crazy to catch up on some crafting projects and deadlines.

With Christmas fast approaching, I thought this stack of DIY gift boxes would be fun to share. Super simple to make with The Ultimate Tool and The Boxer board from Crafter's Companion.

The wonderful thing about DIY boxes is you can make them any size you need. I used the Timeless Card Pack for the box bottoms. For the lids, I used Spectrum Noir High Gloss Cardstock. The gloss cardstock really adds to the elegance of Timeless cardstock. Both the Timeless cardstock and Gloss cardstock are a heavy weight, so they make sturdy professional looking projects.

Crazy about boxes!

I absolutely LOVE making boxes, bags and other fun "gift giving" containers. Here's yet another great box project I created.
 

 
When constructing containers out of paper, it really does make a difference when using a good quality cardstock. Crafter's Companion USA has the hookup!!! They offer both plain white Construction Cardstock and high quality heavyweight Designer Card Packs!


I used the 11x17 Timeless Card Pack for this project. Each pack comes with 20 sheets (10 designs x 2 sheets.)

If you have stamps (of course you do!), you can make custom tissue paper. I used Golden Glitz Delicata Ink to stamp some butterflies from the Sheena's A Little Bit Scenic - Flying Colors stamp set on a piece of plain white tissue paper.

On the top of the box, I layered a piece of the Timeless cardstock on top of a slighter larger piece of cardstock that I edged with a Gold Leafing Pen.

Here's a close-up of the drawer pull-knob. I made it with some of my beading supplies. Super simple, yet really brings an extra bit of elegance as well as functionality.

This project was another one I did that aired earlier this month on the Home Shopping Network.

Happy Friday crafty friends! Did you happen to watch the HSN show this past Wednesday? OH MY WORD...was I EVER a happy little designer when I spotted a bunch of my creations on the TV! Sara Davies, founder of Crafter's Companion, was fantastic with all her wonderful products and demonstrations. Here's one of the projects I created that was zoomed in on...

I was soooooo excited to see my projects on national television! Our design team make loads of fantastic samples for the show. I hope they inspired papercrafters, showing how much the Crafter's Companion Ultimate scoring tool can do. Not to mention the beautiful heavyweight Timeless Paper Pack Collection. LOVE that stuff!

This project is called a 24-Drawer Advent Box. But you can use it for anything you like. Check out the work in  progress...

I used the Crafter's Companion Die'sire Classiques Delicate Butterfly Die and added some sequins and pearls for a touch of elegance. Each drawer has a little pull knob for easy opening.

Crafter's Companion USA on HSN

I'm super excited about the 24-Hour Crafting Event happening on HSN! Sara Davies, the founder of Crafter's Companion, will be on the show and sharing LOADS of Crafter's Companion US goodies. You don't wanna miss the show - Today, Wednesday Oct. 7, 2015. Click HERE to see Sara's show times.

Here's another project I made for the show.

I used my Ultimate Tool along with cardstock from the the Timeless Paper Pack. All the paper elements and accessories are digi's that I printed from the papercrafting CD-ROM which is included with the NEW EXCLUSIVE Crafter's Inspiration Magazine. Yep...a special magazine from Crafter's Companion USA just for HSN. Isn't that cool?! I'm extra excited about this magazine because I have a section in it! WOOP WOOP!
 

After I cut out all the digi printed elements, I sponged the edges with distress ink to finish them. I turned the luggage tag into a shaker window. I also added a ribbon around the card to tie it closed.
 

I designed the inside of the card with a center step out, and decorated with and more of the printed digi elements.
 

A few scattered sequins added a bit of shine and bling to the inside really added depth without bulk. I love that!
