Tea Time Treats Tag Card

Hello again everyone. I just had to share another project I made using the Crafter's Companion Die'sire Create-A-Card Card Base Dies that were just launched. Check this out...

The die I used for this fun shaker mini card is called the "Stacey" Card Base Die. This tag shape die is one of my faves. There are 6 dies in this set. I used the 3rd smallest to die-cut the card, and the smallest to die-cut the window.

I stamped and heat embossed the image from the Party Time stamp set on Spectrum Aqua Watercolour Cardstock. Then I colored with Spectrum Aqua markers - Bud Green, Kingfisher, Rose Pink, Amber, Gold and Yellow.

The image is cut out and adhered to front of card with foam tape. I thought the sentiment from the Downton Abbey - Time for Tea stamp set worked perfectly. It's stamped on the inside of the shaker. The shaker is filled with glitter and sequins. So fun and sparkly.

Watercoloring...yeah...I LOVE IT! Spectrum Aqua Markers are so vibrant. Check out all the great projects and inspiration on Pinterest using Spectrum Aqua as well as all the other Spectrum Noir coloring products.

Happy Crafting,

Felt Purse Tutorial

Hello friends! I've got a tutorial over on the Crafter's Companion USA Blog for this super fun Felt Purse.

I made it using the NEW Gemini electronic die-cutting and embossing machine that will make its debut on HSN Wednesday, July 6th with Sara Davies! This machine is awesome! It was designed for intricate dies as well as many other materials like heavyweight cardstock, vinyl, foil, and multiple layers of fabric - and is compatible with most thin metal dies and embossing folders.

All the dies used to make this purse come included in with the Gemini! SCORE!!! This project can be made for all sorts of occasions and holidays. Just change up the colors and embellishment shapes to match the theme. Use it as a gift bag or fill with goodies for a party favor! I'm sure you can think of a ton of different ideas.

Pop on over to Crafter's Companion Blog to check out my tutorial, and to get more info on the Gemini.

Thanks for stopping by!

I can't believe it! We are celebrating our 200th House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge! Isn't that amazing?! Our blog started back in August of 2008! I am honored not only to be part of this wonderful team, but to have been on this team since the very beginning.  You can see my very first post HERE. I've come a looooog way in my coloring skills since then!

To celebrate, we are having a Blog Candy Party. The prizes are hidden throughout the design teams blogs. We want to spread the LOVE amongst all of our awesome players worldwide, so we will need your help to sort the yummy CANDY. Please help us by adding the NAME of the Country in which you live in next to your own name, on your challenge entry. To be entered for a chance to win, simply leave comments on the design teams blogs, follow our challenge blog and enter a project into this challenge.

***Please read ALL the details on how to enter for the blog candy over on the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge Blog.

And now for our 200th Challenge:  Color Theme: Yellow, Blue and White
Create anything using this fun colour combo on your design. Or, simply go with the alternate option of *ANYTHING GOES*! Either way you choose, just have fun and play along using stamps, CD collections and, or, decoupage by HMD.

I made this card to celebrate.

Isn't that Gruffie Bear so cute?! He is colored with markers.

Don't forget to leave a comment here on my blog to be entered for the blog candy.

Happy Celebrating!
