Tea Time Treats Tag Card

Hello again everyone. I just had to share another project I made using the Crafter's Companion Die'sire Create-A-Card Card Base Dies that were just launched. Check this out...

The die I used for this fun shaker mini card is called the "Stacey" Card Base Die. This tag shape die is one of my faves. There are 6 dies in this set. I used the 3rd smallest to die-cut the card, and the smallest to die-cut the window.

I stamped and heat embossed the image from the Party Time stamp set on Spectrum Aqua Watercolour Cardstock. Then I colored with Spectrum Aqua markers - Bud Green, Kingfisher, Rose Pink, Amber, Gold and Yellow.

The image is cut out and adhered to front of card with foam tape. I thought the sentiment from the Downton Abbey - Time for Tea stamp set worked perfectly. It's stamped on the inside of the shaker. The shaker is filled with glitter and sequins. So fun and sparkly.

Tea Time with Crafter's Companion and Downton Abbey

Here's some exciting news! Crafter's Companion USA is now offering a selection of the Official Downton Abbey Papercrafting products. Now YOU can design some fabulous projects...Downton Abbey style...from this award-winning series!

Here's a card I designed using some of the wonderful products.

I used 3 Downton Abbey Stamp Sets - A Little Something, Time for Tea and A Moment In Time.

I stamped the strip of tea cups on Kraft Cardstock using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. I colored the tea pot with Spectrum Noir Markers:  TB1, BG2, GB1, GB9, BT9, GB9, GB8, Blender

I stamped the clock with blue ink, then stamped the sentiment on top with black. The diecut is from the Downton Abbey Icons Die Set. I diecut it from Yellow Pearl Cardstock and sponged it with distress ink. It's topped off with an official Downton Abbey Pearl :)

The new Downton Abbey Double-sided 6" x 6" Luxury Paper Pad is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I made a matching Envelobox for the card using the 12" x 12" Paper Pad (which is available only at HSN) and the Ultimate Crafter's Companion Tool. Even though the pads are called "paper pads" -- it not thin paper. It's thick as cardstock - 210 gsm high quality acid and lignin free.

The card fits in the envelope perfectly. I diecut another die from the Icon Die Set and  used it to tuck the flap closed.

 

The front of the envelope is decorated using the the Downton Abbey Ornate Frame Die, more of the pearls, stamps and paper. Didn't it turn out fab?!

OH MY did I EVER have fun creating with these goodies! I colored the stamps with Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils along with blending solution and blending stumps.

The glitter accents on the designer cardstock is amazing! Perfect for my "bling" obsession ;)
