Green Slime Challenge

Hello Crafters! Today starts another great challenge over at Fresh Brewed Designs. Check it out...

GREEN SLIME
For this challenge theme all you need to do is use lots of GREEN or GREEN as your POP of color.  Visit the Fresh Brewed Designs Blog for more details, and to see other samples for inspiration. The challenge runs until Nov. 3rd, so you have plenty of time to get your "green slime" on :)

I used the Could You Be Any Sweeter Cupcakes Digi Image along with the Fall Digi Sentiment.

I thought it would fun to give a nice shimmer and shine to my fall cupcake frosting - so I painted over with Smooch Illuminate and then embossed in clear. Kinda gives a "green slime" effect.

I hope you can join in on this fun challenge.

A Muse Studio Cardstock
Markers
Smooch

Ready, Set, GO!

It's Day 5 of Dare to Get Dirty 2015 over at Splitcoaststampers.com! I am BLOWN AWAY by all the projects everyone is making! WOWZERS!

I made this card for one of the today's challenges - hosted by the super sweet and talented Judy Rozema - (aka StampingQueenJar)

I adore critters! This hamster stamp from Whipper Snapper is as cute as they come! Since he is running on a wheel, thought it would be perfect for a shaker card.

The fun "shaker stuff" is Gold Diamond Range FlowerSoft. I figured the little guy would love to have some toys to play with, so I tossed in a few clear and gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. He was VERY happy! I love how this turned out.

Here's a Happy...

Hello again! I'm soooo excited to share another card design using my Eat Cake Graphics stamps!!!

This stamp is called "Kati Ann has something to say." Isn't she the cutest little thing you've ever seen!!!!

I added a "Party Hat with Dots", a "Round Balloon" and "Wobbly Balloon" to make the card "birthday" festive. The sentiment - "Here's a Happy" ...it's one of those gotta have stamps! Seriously...you can do sooooo much with it! Heck..just stamping it alone works. :)

If you wanna know the details on how I created my card...hop on over on the Eat Cake Graphics Blog A Sprinkling of Samples and Techniques.

http://www.eatcakegraphics.com/samples/

Holly (owner and artist of all these fantastical images) is so clever! I seriously want to collect every single stamp she has. Yep...they're that much fun!!! Go take a look for yourself HERE.

Thanks for vising my blog!

I added glitter all over the place. It's summer sparkly!

Gardening Granny

HUMP DAY!

Better yet -- it's Fresh Brewed Designs Choose Your Challenge Day!  YEAH BABY! Check out my creation for this months sketch...

Gardening Granny sure has a pile of veggies! Isn't she a hoot! AND...she's a Rubber Stamp!  Life's good with veggies and rubber stamps! LOL

Here's the challenge sketch and inspiration picture. You can choose one or the other for the challenge...or you can do both.

http://freshbreweddesigns.blogspot.com/2014/05/month-long-choose-your-challenge-may.html

I colored with Copic markers and used the blender pen to draw lines on her hat. I love doing that with my markers! On the ground, I added some Spring Meadows Speckles by Judi Kins. It's cool stuff...nuttin' at all like Flowersoft. I added a little on top of the sentiment tag too...under the tomato (which I cut out from the patterned paper and covered with glossy accents.)  I watered everything with glitter and used my clear glaze pen on the veggies, glasses, glove and shoes.

If you love this Gardening Granny stamp as much as I do...and you MUST have it...you can shop for it right HERE.

Make sure to visit the Fresh Brewed Designs blog HERE to get out all the challenge details and check out the other design team creations. I'm sure you will be inspired!

These mice are relaxing on a nice sandy beach under the warm sun. Oh happy day!

I colored with Copic markers. Shaded around image panel with distress inks. The partial sun/sunrays I sponged distress inks with a stencil then added crystal glitter. The beautiful piece of designer paper (thank you America!!!) I added glitter accents to the sun and rays. I love how the white gel pen faux stitching added to the design! The nice are on a soft sandy beach -- created from FlowerSoft Ultrafine Sand. LOVE! I just recently added the most awesome sequins to my craft stash. Lawn Fawn -- Hello Sunshine Mixed. I just LOVE looking at it in the package! Yes...it's that awesome! The Mermaid cardstock is from A Muse Studio. It's one of my favorite colors. I swear I used it on like every card I make. And it's white on the back! Perfect for makin' cards.

That's it for today. Hope you'll join us for this challenge. You have 2 weeks...but don't wait till the last minute. You know how that goes...

 Thanks for stoppin' by!
