Big Girl Panties

I have another design to share that I made for the CAS-ual Fridays Back in Black Challenge!
GO ME!  LOL!

I love this one!!!!

I used a stamp set from A Muse Studio called Days Like This.  It's one of those sets you just gotta have! Soooo funny!!!  Sentiment is stamped and embossed with White Embossing Powder. To keep the black cardbase from getting stray bits of embossing powder, I first swiped it with a Static Magic pouch.  That sucker works great!  The pink ruffle is Bubblegum Satin Ribbon pleated on some double-sided tape.  Simple :)

The panties are stamped with A Muse Studio Watermelon Pigment ink. I added some Diamond Glitter and a Clear Twinkle Sticker.  The image panel is popped up.

Hope you likey Mikey.  If not...deal with it!

Everything you need to make this project is available from A Muse Studio

Recipe:
Stamps - Days Like This
Inks -  Pigment Watermelon, Versafine Onyx Black
Paper - Sugar and Onyx
Misc. - Bubblegum Satin Ribbon; White Embossing Powder; Clear Dots Twinkle Stickers; Static Magic; Milwaukee Heat Gun; Quickie Glue Pen; Red Double-Sided Sticky Tape; 3D Foam Adhesive

Just for you

Since this weeks challenge over on the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog is to create a clean & simple card using a black card base, I designed my card starting with a 4"x4" Onyx cardstock base. I stamped the A Muse Studio Extraordinary Background image on a Cosmo Paper Flower with Versafine Black ink.  What a great way to customize embellishments!!  The sentiment is stamped in one of the labels from the Vintage Labels 2 set then hand trimmed and popped up.

Picture Perfect Baby

Playing a couple challenges today so I could ink up my NEW Paper Smooches Pip Squeaks set. Have you seen it?
A-DOR-A-BLE!  You can check it out HERE.

First up is the Paper Smooches Picture Perfect Challenge

This challenge ends today...so if you wanna play along you better get busy ;)

What a cool inspiration pic!  I was drawn to all the plates on the wall along with the basic layout of the scene.

I love how my design came together!  The circles are from the Whirligigs set.  Baby is from the Word Up set.  The little bow and baby items are from the Pip Squeak set.  I use a few more stamps from the Pip Squeak set on the inside of the card along with a sentiment from Sentiment Sampler.

I also joined in on the CAS-ual Friday Challenge.  Use anything on your Clean and Simple project to make it sparkle.  NOT like I'm a fan of glitter or anything!

In the closeup you can see I used Warm Highlights Microfine Glitter from Glitter Ritz. That stuff is almost good enough to eat!

Now...back to crafting.  Have a great week!

Recipe:
Stamps - Paper Smooches Pip SqueakWhirligigsWord Up and Sentiment Sampler

Misc. - Prismacolor Pencils PC1018 PC1004 PC913, Gamsol; Quickie Glue Pen; Glitter Ritz Microfine Warm Highlights, scalloped border punch and corner rounder punch

Sexy Tractor

How can you NOT smile when lookin' at this!

I die cut a window on the card front.  Lined the inside with clouds designer paper and stamped the sentiment & spider. Trimmed a scrap of  grass polka dot cardstock and adhered it on the back of the window.

Everything was stamped with black pigment ink and embossed.  I actually embossed the tractor 3 times to add a bit of bulk to it. COOL HUH! Then I colored it very carefully with Copic Markers.  Why carefully???  Well..because if the marker touches the embossing...it will dissolve it on the marker tip. Soooo...you CAN color carefully around the embossed areas...just not over them.

I made this for 2 super fun Clean and Simple (aka CAS) Challenges:

CAS-ual Friday's Blog Challenge CFC54 is to make a Clean & Simple masculine card using designer paper.

Splitcoaststampers Clean & Simple Card Challenge CAS172 is a LOVE theme.
DOUBLE FUN!

Sunny Side of Life

I've been DIE-ing to share this card with you!

Is this COOL OR WHAT??!!!!

I wanted to join the fun over at CAS-ual Fridays for this weeks challenge - make a clean & simple creation using flowers or trees. I also needed to get a design team project done for the A Muse Studio Monday Blog using one or more dies.  So I decided to combined them.

Just LOOK at those amazing colors!!!  It took everything in me to not add some glitter all over the flowers! I controlled myself and went with a diamond glittered butterfly that I die-cut out of velum.  The beautiful sentiment  is stamped with A Muse Studio Grape Pigment Ink. I LOVE this color! It's one of their new shades this year.

Wanna know how I got all those beautiful shades of color? Tombow Markers!  YES WAY!!!  Just colored on the rubber stamp and then spritzed a fine mist of water on the stamp to re-activate the ink -- then stamp.  When I lifted the stamp off the paper and saw this...I SWEAR my socks FLEW OFF MY FEET!
AH-MAZING!

My Favorite Peeps!

Here's a little something I pulled together for the CAS-ual Friday's Challenge - Let the Hunt Begin and Our Craft Lounge Challenge - Run For the Border

The CAS-ual Fridays challenge was to create a project featuring something you'd find in an Easter Basket.  I have one word for this...Peeps!  :) And by the way...you won't find my card entered in the challenge...because ONCE AGAIN I forgot the deadline was WEDNESDAY and not Thursday!
DUHHH!
Moving on to the OCL challenge...this one was to use border or background images on your card.  I used 2 border stamps...the chicken tracks from the Barnyard Banter set and the the tiny dotted border from the Fancy Fringe set. The dotted border is stamped repeatedly on the red card base with Versamark,  embossed, then dusted with Perfect Pearls. I created a background with the border stamp.

The sentiment is from the Hey Chick set...one of my favorites! Even if a stamp set is geared for a holiday, I find ways to use them all year long.

If you ever need inspiration to create a card...or any other stamping & paper crafting project...try playing a challenge.  It's a sure way to get your craft on!

Recipe:
Stamps - Our Craft Lounge Hey Chick set; Fancy Fringe set; Barnyard Banter set
Paper - A Muse Studio Kraft; Bazzill red & White; patterned paper from my scrap pile.

Misc. - EK Success Boarder Punch; Craftworkcards Candi Vintage Berries; Prismacolor Pencils; May Arts Ribbon; Ranger Embossing Antiquities Frosted Crystal Embossing Powder; Ranger Cappuccino Perfect Pearls, Heat Embossing Gun; Ranger Sponging Tool; 3D Foam Tape

I just love my Paper Smooches stamp sets.
