Shrinky Dinky BOO!

Why buy Halloween jewelry when you can make your own!

All I did was stamp the images with black StazOn ink on white Shrinky Dink plastic, punched the hole, trimmed and heat with my embossing gun.  Perfect little charms for earrings, a necklace or bracelet!

Both stamps are from an Our Craft Lounge set called Spook-tacular.  Oh...and in case you missed the card I made using this stamp set...click HERE.

The Candy Monster

We have a Spooky & Sweet challenge for you over on the Our Craft Lounge Blog this week!

Make Fall or Halloween Treats

To turn this plain white paper sack into a Halloween Treat Bag, I used two AWESOME stamp sets from Our Craft Lounge - Spooky Borders and Little Boogas.

LOTS of glitter and shimmer! YEAH BABY!

You can see in the closeups the areas that have Spica glitter pens colored on them - purple spots on the monster, shoes, stripes on socks, kids hair and the suckers on the sack. Spica pens give a nice shimmer. On the monsters eyelids and candy in the pumpkin I used glitter. On the sucker and pumpkin I used Stickles. I colored over the eyeballs with a clear glaze pen.

You know...this little monster could be used for a birthday card.  Just don't ink up the pumpkin and sucker.  Then you can replace the sucker with a balloon :)

Trick or Tweet

I HAD to share this stamp set with you!  Spooky Nights from Our Craft Lounge.  This is a GREAT set to go along with the Spook-tacular stamp set I used to make yesterdays card.

JUST LOOK AT THAT CAT'S FACE! LOL!!! LOVE IT!
And the little bird...sooooo TWEET!

I also used a set called Every Heart Beat. I stamped the chevron pattern on white cardstock with wasabi and orange pigment ink.  Then I stamped all the other images with black pigment ink and layered it on onyx cardstock.  The fun Halloween colored twine is wrapped around and tied with a button.  The button is clear with a punched out piece of Memory Box designer cardstock stuck on the back with clear glaze.SUPER fast & easy!  The entire panel is popped up on the orange card base with foam tape.

If you want to see a couple other projects I made using the Spooky Nights stamp set last year click HERE.

Today is the last day to join in the Our Craft Lounge Twine Challenge.  Get all the deets HERE.

Stay tuned...I have more Halloween & Fall projects coming!

This is SPOOK-tacular!

I'm sooooooo stoked to get my Fall & Halloween craft on!  You?
Alllllrighty then...I'll let 'er RIP.  HA!  Get it?  RIP?!

This week over on the Our Craft Lounge blog, our challenge is:  All About Twine.  Use twine in a creative way.

Well...I can't really say I was all THAT creative using the black twine on my card...but everything is creative to me these days.  Heck...just getting a card done...THAT'S creative..yes?  :)  Still...I think my card is creative AND adorable.

All the images are from an OCL set called Spook-tacular.  Every image on this set is da'bomb!  I love it when a set is packed full of images that go together or be used individually.  This is one of those sets.  I even stamped on the inside!

I used 4 colors of Sparkly Fluff.  Eyeliner Black on the Spider, Real Juicy Orange around the sentiment...

...and Real Juicy Orange, Lemon Drop Yellow and Sugar Sparkly Fluff on the candy corns. Sparkly Fluff is FUN STUFF! You put it on just like glitter.

Come back tomorrow...I have another "tweet" Halloween card to share.

Sail away with me

WOO HOO!!!!  I did my first project using my Silhouette Cameo!

I combined a couple challenges on my card.

The first is the Our Craft Lounge challenge to include a boat or something that floats on your project.  I used the Smooth Sailing set from OCL.  The boat is stamped in Ranger Broken China Distress ink.  The sentiment is stamped in black and embossed.

The second challenge is for the brand new The Cameo Spotlight Challenge Blog.  The first TCS Challenge is a Summer Theme.   I cut out a summer subway art piece and used parts of it on my card.  I added some Bananan Art Glitter accents. I LOVE colored glitter! :)

Not bad for my first ever Silhouette Cameo project.  I've had this machine since Christmas (thanks mom!) -- so it was time to jump in and play.
 (Isn't that right Karolyn?!  lol!)

Heck...you might just see a few more Cameo projects in the near future

Oh the places you'll go!

Day 5 of May Arts/Our Craft Lounge Week.

Today is the last day of our special May Arts/Our Craft Lounge Blog Week. A BIG THANK YOU to May Arts for providing us with all the awesome ribbon to play with.

For my final project, I created a tag using the NEW OCL Miles to Go set along with the Vintage Traveler set.

Once again, I used the black 1" Faux Suede Leaves ribbon, white Mini Pom Poms and black Burlap String. I also used another new ribbon  --  1/2" Crochet. To give the Crochet Ribbon and Mini Pom Poms more of a vintage color,  I applied Antique Linen Distress Stain.

I put a crystal rhinestone on the top of the tower.  Can you see some of the shimmer on the tag from the Perfect Pearls I misted on it?  LOVE IT!  I also used Distress Rock Candy Stickles on the little ticket.

I hope you've enjoyed all my projects this week. I worked on them for HOURS and HOURS! My family went hungry for DAYS...but I had fun!
  hee hee hee

Check out the rest of the projects for today - Friday August 10th:

BTW...it's Friday and that means we have a new challenge on the OCL Blog.  The challenge is to make a project using Ribbon.  Please join in the fun and show us what you come up with! :)  Get all the challenge details on the blog HERE.

Hello Pretty Petals

Hey bloggers! It's Day 3 of May Arts/Our Craft Lounge Week.

Today I'm using the New Everyday Sentiments set again to stamp the tiny tag. The Burlap String is from May Arts. I LOVE LOVE LOVE burlap strings!!! I'm also using the New May Arts 1" Faux Suede Leaves ribbon again -- but this time in red.
It's soooo soft and plush!

The flower and bee are from the Pretty Petals set. I colored with Copic markers and added Clear Spica Glitter Pen to the petals. The center of the flower has clear glaze and the bee wings crystal glitter.

OK...you know the drill...here's the design team links with projects to share today - Wed. August 8th:

Hope to see you again tomorrow

Happy Camper Memories

Welcome back for Day 2 of May Arts/Our Craft Lounge Week.

I made a cover page for a 6 x 6 mini album. Now I'm gonna have to make the rest of the album pages...in my spare time!  LOL! OK...so CHECK OUT the new 2.5" Wired Burlap.  I TOTALLY LOVE IT! It's big enough to cut up into fun shapes...or even die cut!!! Yep...I ran a piece through my Big Shot and it cut out beautiful! To keep the edges from fraying I adhered each piece to kraft cardstock.

I used the NEW Happy Camper and Miles to Go stamp sets from OCL. Awesome for scrapbook pages AND cards!
The little marshmallows I popped up and added Sparkly Fluff :)

Another new ribbon is the 1" Faux Suede Leaves ribbon. Soooo COOL!  You can see it better in the close-up.

The little dots that I stamped to frame the page are from the Fancy Fringe set. Also used some May Arts Black Burlap String to tie little bows on the end of the bunting.  You can't see it in the pic...but there a long piece of the string behind the banner and little screw brand at the ends.

Here's the design team members and links with projects to share today - Tuesday August 7th:

Thanks for stopping by.  Come back tomorrow for another day of fun projects!
