Love Notes

Hey friends!

I seriously had so much fun making this card. My design idea was to be clean and artsy. Is there such a thing?

This is my take on it...

I used a few stamps from the Crafter's Companion Sentimentals Friends and Family set to stamp  and emboss on the black heart. Then I stamped a couple more... right over (avoiding the big "love" word) with Versamark and embossed that with sparkle embossing powder. I also added black glitter around the edge of the heart. I love how it turned out!

For the wings I covered them with red embossing tinsel. The crown is 4 pieces die-cut and stacked  to make it thick like chipboard...then embellished with sequins and gems.

The card base is embossed with Crafter's Companion Petite Dot Embossing Folder (one of my favorite embossing folders). Then I sprayed the entire card base with Iridescent Spray and Sparkle. It's like icing on the cake! I've told you before...but I'm gonna say it again...it's DA' BOMB!

There ya have it...clean and artsy...made by me ;)

Have an artsy kinda day!

I think clean and artsy usually conflict, but you've rocked it here! Awesome card with lots of shimmery and shine. I love how you made and blinged-out that crown.
