3D Embossing Folders

Hello friends,

Good news! The amazing Crafter's Companion 3D Embossing Folders are now available on their website. Go check 'em out HERE.

I used the Country Garden Folder on this card.

The levels of dimensional detail you get with these folders is crazy!

I masked off the an area I wanted to do some ink blending.  I made the area to be the perfect size for my die-cut sentiment. You can use any size and shape mask that you want. I used a range of yellow to red Distress Inks to create a bright and cheerful color blend. After I removed the masking paper, I blasted the entire panel with some Sheer Shimmer Spritz Spray. WOW! Then I mat the pane on gold Luxury Mirror Cardstock, popped up on the card base, added the die-cut sentiment, and finished with sequins.

These folders can emboss just about anything! Paper, leather, metal, felt, tin, aluminum...on and on and on. Seriously folks...these 3D Embossing Folders from Crafter's Companion are super cool! It takes only a couple minutes to make a greeting card that looks so professional.

These Die'sire Classiques Corner Dies from Crafter's Companion are CRAZY FUN!

This card design was so easy. I started out by die cutting the Heart Corner Dies on the front panel of an easel card bases from the pack of Create-A-Card Fancy Card Blanks. Before removing the dies from the panel, I blended a few distress inks on one of them and down to the first panel crease. I repeated the process on the back panel.

I left one of the panels white on the inside of the card, and then stamped flowers. So when the card is folded up you don't see it, until you open it up. The sentiment and images are stamped in black, and I added some die cut heart accents as well. Those were cut from the the corner dies. ;)

Then I die-cut 2 more corner dies from white cardstock scraps, and trimmed them out. Also blending some distress on them while die was still on the cardstock. These pieces I popped up on dimensional foam tape between the corner die-cuts.

The black ribbon and rhinestones really added to the card design. You can't really see in the pics, but I did add crystal glitter around the cut out heart of the corner diecuts

I love how this turned out! This is one of my favorite color combos. Looks like a sunset :)

HSN Sneak Peek

Hello friends! We are super excited to have another HSN Event with Crafter's Companion USA on Wednesday, March 8th.  Sara Davies is will be back (YAY!) along with Jennifer Tryon with fabulous new goodies! Our design team has been super duper busy crankin' out a bunch of samples with the products that will be up for grabs on the show. Don't you just LOVE THIS?!!! I sure do! I used the new Leoni Pujol Folk Art Fun Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Entwined Love 5"x7" Embossing Folder.

This design looks like a lot of work, but it's so easy! You can whip it out in less than 30 minutes!

It's so hard to capture sparkle on camera...but if you look close, I added Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen to the bursts coming out from the rhinestone on the heart.
