Hey bloggers! Have you played our "Masculine" challenge yet this month over at Crafter's Companion? You still have time!
Click HERE to go directly to the USA Entry Form for the May Challenge. Click HERE to go directly to the UK Entry Form for the May Challenge. Also, at the top of both the USA and UK
Facebook Pages, where the Twitter and Pinterest feeds are, there's a
tab that says 'Monthly Challenge'. You can click on that to enter as
well.
I have another card to share using the Silhouette Highlands set from the Crafter's Companion.
This card has a pocket on the inside for a gift card/movie tickets/picture/etc. I stamped the lattice image with Versamark ink - then did 2nd generation stamping over that, with black ink, using the pine branch image.
The "Happy Father's Day" stamp is from one of my favorite Crafter's Companion Sentimentals Set - Friends and Family. I stamped the trees image with Versamark -- and then stamped the sentiment in black.
To create that beautiful sunset - stamp the mountains image on a piece of plain white printer paper - then trim. This will be used to mask off the mountains when sponging inks for the sunset.
Stamp the mountains image as desired on a piece of cardstock. Place the mask on top of the stamped image and sponge inks to create the sunset. I used a circular motion when sponging. These inks blend soooooo good!
I just held the mask in place to keep it from shifting -- but you could
used a couple pieces of washi tape - or even some temporary adhesive on
the back of the mask.
Trim the panel to the desired size and finish stamping all the other images to complete the scene.
Thanks for stopping by!
