Sunny Side of Life

I've been DIE-ing to share this card with you!

Is this COOL OR WHAT??!!!!

I wanted to join the fun over at CAS-ual Fridays for this weeks challenge - make a clean & simple creation using flowers or trees. I also needed to get a design team project done for the A Muse Studio Monday Blog using one or more dies.  So I decided to combined them.

Just LOOK at those amazing colors!!!  It took everything in me to not add some glitter all over the flowers! I controlled myself and went with a diamond glittered butterfly that I die-cut out of velum.  The beautiful sentiment  is stamped with A Muse Studio Grape Pigment Ink. I LOVE this color! It's one of their new shades this year.

Wanna know how I got all those beautiful shades of color? Tombow Markers!  YES WAY!!!  Just colored on the rubber stamp and then spritzed a fine mist of water on the stamp to re-activate the ink -- then stamp.  When I lifted the stamp off the paper and saw this...I SWEAR my socks FLEW OFF MY FEET!
AH-MAZING!

I have seen socks fly - it is amazing - LOL. This is beautiful. So pretty - looks like you painted it. I saw this technique a few weeks ago and wanted to try it but I don't seem to have any stamps that fit it. Your image is awesome. Love the 'fly too.

LMAO!! Seriously? Your socks flew off your feet?!! I HIGHLY doubt that!! And if it did, why didn't you call me?!! I would have paid A MILLION DOLLARS to see it!! LOL But I WILL agree that this is pretty freakin' amazing - the colors are stunningly gorgeous, that delicious glitter/vellum butterfly is just the perfect amount of bling to finish this off. And yes, that grape color is really yummy!! GREAT JOB, Missy!! XO P.S. Soooo happy that you played along with CAS-ual Fridays this week . . . it makes my heart smile!!

I can't quite decide which is more fun - your gorgeous card or your crazy, excited reaction to it! Either way, thank you for the inspiration and the smiles you gave me.

AH-MAZING it is, Lori! I did something like this the other day, but it was not with Tombow markers and it was not as spectacular as this! Thanks so much for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
