Trend Watch is Food Fresh!

Time once again for our Paper Smooches SPARKS Trend Watch Challenge!

         

I immediately thought of fresh red apples in a basket.

I stamped the Dapper background on a red card base with red ink to create the look of a basket pattern. The tree and birdie - from the Spring Groves set - are stamped on patterned paper, trimmed and paper pieced. The wooden sign - from the Happy Camper set - is stamped on woodgrain cardstock and shaded with Copics.  I used the Alphadots set to stamp "U Pick". 

Apples are from the Gently Seasoned set - stamped on red cardstock and shaded just a little with a red marker.  Then I trimmed them out and covered with glaze. The eye on the birdie is also covered with glaze :)
