This week our challenge is to create something using thick embossing powder. I had a jar of deep impressions clear embossing powder in my stash...so that's what I used for my project.
I took a little piece of Kraft cardstock and inked it up with VersaMark. Then I applied 3 or 4 coats of the embossing powder. Before the last coat cooled, I pressed a stamp from the Beautiful Botanicals 2 set on top of the warm ep. I got a beautiful impression!
After it cooled I smeared onyx pigment in all over it & then wiped it with a paper towel to removed excess. Next I slightly heated the top again and tossed the NEW Champagne Glitter on it. Turned out cool! The die-cut butterfly is also covered with the new glitter. This new glitter is TO.DIE.FOR!!!
It was fun to try something new. I just might do this again :)
Have fun embossing!
