On Your Special Day

I think I'm on a birthday roll this week :)  Here's one I colored with Spectrum Noir Markers and Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils...
 

 The image stamp is from Crafter's Companion Angelica & Adam Acrylic Stamp - Cherry on Top. Such a sweet stamp! All the Angelica & Adam stamps are must have! The sentiment is also from Crafter's Companion - Vintage Floral Collection Sentimentals.

To color, I started off by coloring with the markers:

• Skin: FS1, FS2, FS3, PP3
• Dress/Shoes/Hairbows/Flowers: BT1, BT2, BT4, BT5
• Hair: GB2, GB1, GB8, GB9
• Cupcake and Liner: TN1, TN2, TN7
• Cherry: CR3, CR5, DR2, DR6
• Leaves: CG2, LG1
• Frosting: CR4
• Ground: EB1
• Shadows: BG3

Then I added colored pencil enhancements with blending solution and paper stumps:

• Dress: 063
• Hair: 110
• Background Shading: 114
• Cherry: 033
• Cheeks: 034
• Cupcake: 087

To make the flag bunting, I hand-cut little triangle pieces of patterned paper, punched holes, and strung on bakers twine. Some glitter, rhinestones and sequins put the bling bling on things :)
