In case you didn't know...I love animals. So does Mike & Michaela. When I go to the pet store...I feel like all those lonely little animals should come home with me so I can give them love and affection. They look at you with sad eyes..."take me home with you...please!" LOL Well...we stopped at the pet store today to get some goodies for a new Love Bird that has recently joined our family...and guess what we brought home...
...Grace the Fancy Blue Rat :) She's the sweetest little critter! Yep...that's right...I said she is sweet!! Actually...sweet & cuddly...and the softest fur ever!! Michaela picked her out and named her.

I am not into rats but I have to say Grace the fancy blue rat is so cute. She looks like she should be featured in a children's story book. Especially the way your daughter is holding her, too cute. Love the colors on your bird, kinda looks like it was colored with copic's :) My oldest son just finished his schooling and will take his national exam this month for Veterinarian Technician. His wife is afraid he is going to bring home animals that need a home. He would love your family.
You are a brave woman! I'm absolutely positive I would not have a mouse, as cute as this one is, for a pet. :o)
Lori...I knew I liked you....Love the rat.. years ago I had a Norwegian hooded rat...this one is even cuter!! We have a menagerie as well; Blue crown conure, rosebreasted cockatoo, a rabbit and a fish....
Ok Babe..while this rat IS cute...your dog is thinking "mmmmm...DINNER"! Oh yea. Let grace go and you will see wildlife in action I guarantee it! LMAO! So what the HECK is up? You are like animal kingdom over there! I will NEVER be able to come over & visit now! LOL! Bird? YIKES! what the heck is a cockatiel? I'm sure it will freak me out! LMAO! Next you need to nab yourself a roadrunner and you'll be all SET!
LMAO!
I am not a bird fan but I did have a pet rat once when I was in the 5th grade. I won't tell you how that ended.
