Say it Big

Butterfly Trio
Leave a comment on this blog post by Friday 4/19 for a chance to WIN the new butterfly set!

AWESOME!!!  And since I'm on the design team...I got 'em a little early to play with! GIT-R-DONE!!!!

I used the new Say it Big set along with the Coveralls Background Stamps -Dogs on my first card...

I inked up the words with different colors. Colored in "ciao" with a marker. Then I stamped three of the dogs from the background stamp, colored and cut out. To make the twine match, I swiped the ink pad across it -- the same blue pad I used to ink up "guten tag".

The finishing touch was a little orange rhinestone on the dogs collar, clear glaze on their noses and a "woof" dog tag that I metal stamped and punched out. FUN STUFF!

The second card I used the new Butterfly Trio set and part of a sentiment from the  Everyday Sayings set.

I colored the solid butterfly with distress markers and then stamped.  Then I stamped the detailed butterfly stamp on transparency, trimmed and adhered just the center (bodies). After the glue dried, I  creased the wings up...just slightly...for dimension. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

I decided to make a short video showing how to stamp the butterflies with markers.  It's so easy...and the results...AMAZING!  Check it out...

NOW....last but not least...something for dessert!

OMG! These sets are both so cute and I'm already thinking of all the cards I can make with them. Thanks for sharing the technique you used with the 'ciao'.
