Perfect Partners Pansy

Hello friends. Here's a card I made using Sheena Perfect Partners Victorian Floral - Pansy Stamp and Die Sets from Crafter's Companion USA. I also used the Textures Woodgrain Embossing Folder that comes included in a Crafter's Inspiration Magazine - Issue 7 Summer Edition.

I diecut the flower and leaf pieces from white cardstock - then stamped with Aqua Markers and colored with Sparkle Pens. Once the pieces were completely dry, I adhered together with dimensional foam tape. The sentiment strip is stamped and heat embossed.

The woodgrain panel was SUPER easy! I colored Aqua Markers directly on one side of the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and pressed it closed with a white cardstock panel tucked inside. No embossing, just used it as a stamp.

It really turned out amazing! You would never know the flower and leaves started out as plain white cardstock.

Aqua Markers Colors: Sunflower, Gold, Amber, Bud Green, Evergreen, Orchid an Wildflower
Sparkle Pens: Moonlight, Emerald Green, Violet and Crystal Clear

Tips:
  • Color Aqua Markers directly on rubber stamps, lightly mist with water and stamp onto cardstock pieces that have been diecut for each of the images. Color images by painting with Sparkle Pens for a luxurious watercolor/sparkle blend.
  • Use embossing folders as a stamp! Brush Aqua Markers directly on the raised areas of embossing folder. Lightly spritz with water, then carefully place cardstock panel down and press the folder closed.

Thanks for stopping by today,
