Think Simple. Think A Muse.

Winter Holiday Classics - Poinsettia Cling

A Muse Artstamps is know for producing fresh simple designs that allow you to create projects in just minutes.

"Think Simple. Think A Muse."

This is one of the cards I designed for my A*Muse*A*Palooza Winter Holiday Classics class. All the card designs in this class were based on A Muse's signature "Think Simple. Think A Muse" style.

The new Poinsettia Cling stamp (which I just LOVE!) is a big solid image. Just ink it and stamp it....no coloring required. But...even BETTER....since the image has space -- where you see white paper showing -- you can easily trim it out leaving the same white border around the image as you cut. THAT makes it even faster AND easier to cut out!! Git-R-Done! That's right! Leaving a border around the image actually makes it look better IMO. I'd have no problem at all mass producing this card to send out during the holidays. OH...I almost forgot...the greeting "Happy Holidays" is also new.
Don't you just love A Muse!

How about getting your holiday stamps out and creating something. This months challenge over on the A Muse Lounge is to create any holiday card with your A Muse stamps. Doesn't have to be Christmas...it can be ANY holiday :) And....there's a prize up for grabs! Get all the details HERE.

Wishing You a Beautiful Autumn

New A Muse Artstamps

I'm lovin' all the newly released A Muse stamps. Now if Fall woulld just hurry up and get here! I'm tired of the heat!

What's so cool about these 2 new images is that they can be used all year around. I've used both the Artic Fox and Birch Forest with Leaves on fall and winter cards so far. The Birch Forest with Leaves stamp has the leaves mounted on the end. You could even stamp just 1 of the trees and turn it sideways as a branch. LOVE IT! The sentiment is from last year's Fall Release.

This card is another sample from my A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA A Muse Fall Holiday Classics class. I'm teaching this class one last time at Stamp Works this coming Saturday at 9am.

I have a million things to get done ***eeeeek! ** so that's it for now stampers. If you are in the Phoenix area, I would love for you to join me Saturday in class.

Graveyard Gathering

amuse-bouche Day 8 - Designers Choice

Today's the last day of A Muse Artstamps A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA sneak peeks. I've had a great time with all the new stamps and papers designing projects for my classes. It's been a full week of fun stamping and visiting. Today I taught another session of my "Get In Shape" class...so I'll share one of those designs.

For this card I used the new "Graveyard Greetings" Cling stamp and the new "Three Mice Silhouette". I also used "Mummy" - which isn't new....but it was sooooo perfect for this card design!

3 new 8 1/2" x 11" papers - Slate, Onyx and Grass.

Well...I hope you loved all the sneak peeks this past week.
Now comes the hard part...deciding what stamps you gotta have .
Go check out the other goodies for day 9 HERE.
Have a great weekend!

From All of Us

amuse-bouche Day 5 - Snow Fun

A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!! That's what I think these 3 new images from A Muse are. Snow Gent, Snow Lady and Snow Baby & Birdie. I have sooooo many fun ideas for these stamps! "from all of us" is a new sentiment. It stamps so crisp and clean! The card base is made from the NEW Winter Sky 8 1/2 x 11 paper. What a great color!

This is one of the designs from my class "The Copic Cafe - Baby it's Cold Outside." I plan on teaching this class again in the Fall.

Hop on over to the A Muse Lounge HERE to see more Snow Fun samples.

Gingerbread Village

amuse-bouche Day 4 - Sweet Holiday

Now you tell me...HOW can you resist these yummy new stamps and paper from A Muse?!!! The new Ginger Delights Set, Sweet Houses Set and Candy Cane Paper. Yummy!!

When I finished designing this card for my "Get in Shape" class I had the biggest smile on my face. OH YEAH BABY....GIT-R-DONE!!! It's a little more time consuming with cutting out the pieces...but soooooooo worth it! Like making gingerbread cookies...they take more time because you have to cut them out, bake them, cool them and THEN decorate them. Worth the time and effort....YKWIM. I'm teaching this card in my Get in Shape class again this Saturday at Stamp Works.

Make sure to check out all the other yummy Sweet Holiday designs from some of the other A Muse Creative Team HERE.

Classic Christmas Tags

amuse-bouche Day 3 - Classic Christmas
Are you ready to see more new A Muse goodies? How about some Christmas Classics!
Check out the new Young Rudy and To From Classic.

When I think of Classic Christmas...I think of the fun little tags on the gifts under the tree when I was a kid. I loved looking at all the tags...especially the ones with "stuff" on them. You know the stuff I'm talkin' 'bout...glitter, bling, fuzzy stuff, etc. But the BEST tags were the ones that had "Lori" next to the word "To:"

This is one of the tags from my Taggers Dozen Class I taught last weekend at Stamp Works. We had a blast creating 13 different tags and a box to store them in. Here are a couple pics of all the fun.

A Muse has this new stamp called Spider Tag. It's a must have for your Halloween collection!!! And don't forget the sentiment Spooktacular Treats. I stamped it on the new Grass Cardstock and cut the words apart for fun layering.

This party favor is one of the projects from my Sinful Sweets Class. I'm teaching it again on July 15th at Stamp Works. You will be making 9 projects in this class!

Go check out all the great Halloween Party ideas the A Muse Creative Team came up HERE.

amuse-bouche Day 5

Christmas in the Neighborhood

The new Noel Banner from A Muse is so stinkin' cute! I know...I know...I say that about all the new stamps...but it's true! Problem is...that makes you want them ALL! A couple ladies that came to my A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA classes did buy them all!!
Git-er-done ladies!!!

This card also uses the new Evergreen Branch which I totally love...but you already knew that ;) I stamped the Noel Banner then masked it off to stamp the Evergreen Branch.

Then...I added a bunch of fun stuff...Red & White Fun Flock and Crystal Snow Glitter. I colored the banner with Clear Spica Glitter Pen. NOW these birds are ready to deck out the neighborhood with their banner! If you click the pictures...you can really see the fun fuzzy stuff :)

Speaking of decking out the neighborhood...my favorite neighborhood stamp store - Stamp Works - was decked out yesterday with a bunch of wonderful holiday packages from my Pretty Little Packages class. We were having so much fun...we lost track of time and closed the shop! (oops!) Thanks ladies for spending your afternoon with me celebrating A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA!

amuse-bouche Day 4

Christmas is for Kids

More A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA fun today!

This was a super fun and easy card to make. No coloring
except for a little with a Spica Glitter Pen. I used the new Woodgrain cardstock to create the door. The new Wreath and Berries was stamped on white cardstock - then trimmed out and popped up on dimensionals. Red Sheer Ribbon to top it off and a large clear Twinkle Sticker for the door knob.

Here's the fun part for kids - both young & old

I cut out a doorway from the front of a ne
w Cranberry note card - adhered it down flat - then stamped the new Under the Mistletoe & Wishing You Delight in the doorway. The door is attached to the ouside of the notecard.

If you want to make it even easier - you can punch out the wreath instead of cutting. Then stamp the Under the Mistletoe kids & sentiment on the inside of the note card instead of creating the cut out doorway. You could mass produce a bunch that way!

See even more wonderful samples
of the new Holiday images on the A Muse News Blog. There's also a comprehensive list of links of each day's amuse-bouche among our Creative Team Members HERE in the Lounge.
