Spectrum Noir June Challenge - Sparkle and Bling
The stamps are from Eat Cake Graphics - Oval balloon, Round balloon and Wobbly balloon. Aren't they just the best?! The Happy Birthday Typewriter Text sentiment is classic!
I stamped balloons on the new Spectrum Aqua Watercolor Cardstock. It's wonderful! Bright white and perfect for stamping! The balloons are watercolored with Spectrum Aqua Watercolor Markers - Gold, Aquamarine and Bud Green.
Since this was for the a Sparkle and Bling challenge, I used Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz to paint with, instead of water. OH MY did they turn out sparkly! I need a gallon jug of this stuff! LOL.
For some bling, I added a few blue rhinestones. The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed in white.

ReplyDeleteI just got the aqua markers and am still experimenting with them. I would never have thought to use shimmer spray to color with instead of water, but why not? Brilliant (pun intended!) :-) Thanks for the inspiration. I don't have this balloon set, but I do have others. I'm totally going to CASE this card!
