Forever Friends

HELLOOOOO FRIDAY!!!! WOOP WOOP!

I'm having fun playing with NEW Lizzie Anne Designs goodies! I just LOVE their stuff! You can now find their stamps and dies over at Simon Says Stamps.

To make this card I used 2 stamps sets: Chalkboard Love and Hey Sugar.

The first thing I did is stamp the large heart on kraft cardstock with Versamark ink. Next I used Tim Holtz Distress Markers (Festive Berries, Gathered Twigs and Peacock Feathers) to ink up the stamps. Using the markers instead of ink pads is how you easily get all the different colors on one stamp. SOOOO EASY...and the results....baaaBAMMM!! All the stamps I used on the kraft cardstock panel are from the Chalkboard Love stamp set.

I stamped the "awesome" banner a second time and trimmed out then popped up on foam tape.  For added dimension I lightly shaded with a white colored pencil.

The scalloped border is from the Hey Sugar stamp set. I stamped it on the A Muse Studio Mermaid Cardstock card base with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.

Isn't it amazing how we can create such awesome cards with 3 stamps?! And this is why I am addicted to stamping!

Thanks sooooo much for stopping in today!

Yep!! Pretty freakin' amazing, I tell ya!! You are such a smarty pants to make this stamped sentiment look like it's about 10 different stamps inked up in different colors. And the white shading makes such a difference in making those words POP! And THAT's why I need to hang out with you more . . . you are BRILLIANT and I need your skills to rub off onto me! LOL Love it all!
