Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

A Polka Dotted Hullabaloo
I keep telling myself to take time out and craft just for ME ...not for classes. I always have a bazillion ideas that never get created...so it's time to GIT-R-DONE!!!!

Moxie Fab World is one of those places I ALWAYS find inspiration. Like Cath's Tuesday Trigger. This weeks Trigger (inspiration) is Hullabaloo Polka Dot Steel Blue Fabric from Moda. Get all the details HERE if you want to play along.

The first thing I saw in this picture was texture. You would think it would have been the colors or all the polka dots. Well....yes...I did see all that...but it was the texture that instantly got my creative juices flowing.

Since the Trigger is actually a piece of fabric...I stamp some texture with the A Muse Studio Mesh Background image. Then I stamped dots in various colors from A Muse Studio Lot's of Dots set.

I decided to pull in darker blue dots instead of the darker gray. Why? I don't know...it was just the color that called out to me.
It feels soooo good to stamp just for fun.

All supplies from A Muse Studio unless otherwise noted
Recipe:
Stamps
- Mesh Background, Lots of Dots; Essential Sentiments

Inks
- A Muse Studio Pigment inks, Versafine Black

Papers
- Sugar & Slate

Misc
- Slate Grosgrain Ribbon; Circle Punches; Vanilla Twine; Clear Buttons; Foam Tape

I think your take on the Tuesday Trigger is fantastic! I really like it a lot! I also like how you used the black circle under the clear button to anchor your sentiment. This would make a great masculine card for any occasion. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love the texture you added to the DP and I would have kept the blue too. It just pops. Love this card, so clean looking.
