Vintage Mice

It's House Mouse Challenge Monday!!!

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #75 - Vintage. Create your card or project with anything vintage - and make sure to use at least 1 House Mouse friend image. Thanks go out to Heather for coming up with this challenge. Check out the House Mouse & Friends Challenge blog for all the details.

I used a stamp from Stampa Rosa called Raisin Snack. Super cute!! The date on the woodblock is 1998 -- that's a long time ago...so it's vintage....right? LOL!

I have several vintage goodies on my card. I used some cool vintage paper from Hot Off the Press. The main image layer is painted with Ranger Distress Rock Candy Crackle Paint. When it was dry I rubbed on some Vintage Photo Distress ink. That added an extra punch to the cracks in the paint. You can see it really good in the closeup pics. Click the pictures to see 'em bigger.

I also added Rock Candy Distress Stickles to the sentiment. Doesn't this sentiment have a wonderful vintage look to it...and it's layered on a punched out piece of that vintage paper.

Have fun creating! Don't forget to check out the HM & Friends blog for challenge and prize details HERE.

Hi Lori, fabulous !! Love the cute image and fantastic 'crackling'. I have some here sat on my desk waiting for me to pluck up courage to use it on an image it's taken hours to colour. Love the sentiment on the vintage paper.

GORGEOUS card Lori!!! The Rock Candy Crackle Paint gives it sort of an aged canvas type look. I love it!!!

Lori, this is just the best image for this challenge! Love the crackling you did, and the pictures are great for showing it off. Sentiment is perfect and looks like it was typed on a vintage typewriter. Just a great take on the Vintage challenge which isn't always easy!

What a super fun image! I've not seen this one before and it makes me laugh. Reminds me of my brother and me when we were little. I was always chasing him around. Love that crackle paint. Really looks great on your card! Hope you are well! Best, Curt
