Teacher Tag Day 4

I need a Tardy Pass!

Sorry so late with my post. Such is life ;)

Are you ready for another quick and simple Teacher Appreciation Gift Idea?
Well then...ON WITH THE SHOW!

Movie Projector

I created an envelope for a pair of movie tickets. Then with a piece of the same cardstock - using the flip side - I made a slider to go around it. By using a slider -- or sleeve -- or whatever you call it -- the flap doesn't have to be glued shut...and could be used over again. Once again I'm using the School Time Clear set from A Muse. I just LOVE this set!

I used Solid Apple and 2-4-6-8 from A Muse to stamp on the band. Chalk ink on the apple Warm Red, Olive Pastel and Chestnut Roan. The ruler is stamped with Amber Clay Chalk ink.

Here is how to make the envelope:

If you haven't already been over to Geeta's blog and Jennie's blog...make sure and hop over to see what they have to share today. Don't forget to leave a comment :)

Recipe
Stamps: A Muse Artstamps
School Time Clear set; Solid Apple; 2-4-6-8
Inks: Colorbox Chalk Warm Red, Olive Pastel, Chestnut Roan; Brilliance Graphite Black
Papers: A Muse Kitchen Red Cardstock

Misc: Scor-Pal; Double Sided tape; Carl Corner Rounder

Added 5/7/10
Idea Today I was thinking....IF you wanted to put money in this envelope instead of movie tickets...start with a 6" x 7 1/2" cardstock and score the sides at 1/2" & 7". That will be wide enough for dollar bills. Heck...I bet $100 bills will even fit in there.
