Last Day of School

Today is the last day of school for Michaela. She is really going to miss her teacher. We have been so very fortunate that Michaela has had wonderful teachers every year. The sentiment on this card really describes her 3rd grade teacher, Miss Canter. THAT is why her folder is full of hearts :)

I'm using the new Cobalt Blue and Wheat cardstock again...along with Papaya and Red. The Pencils are colored with Copic markers.

The large hearts are punched out of red cardstock...stamped with red ink...then sanded off the edges.

The Solid Apple is stamped with chalk inks...then I "kissed off" the hearts with the Tiny Heart stamp. I colored over the hearts with Clear Spica Glitter Pen. The leaf is cut out of Lime cardstock and paper pieced down flat.

Make sure and check out all the great Summer Fun inspiration ideas on the A Muse News Blog -- and a list on the A Muse Lounge of all the Muse's blogs with goodies to check out too!
