Seas the Day...

...and do something fun!

Coral Reef

I decided to take a little break from all the "love" stuff. Plus...my new A Muse Sea of Love images needed some attention :)

I used my Copic airbrush system to do Faux Tearing for the bottom of the sea. Super simple and it turned out perfecto mundo!!! Same concept as the Faux Tearing technique Beate shows over on Splitcoaststampers --- I just used an airbrush.

I stamped the Coral a few times with Ice Blue Chalk ink -- to give it a look of far away in the ocean. Then I stamped it with Rocket Red Brilliance ink. For some reason.....I decided to cover the red coral with glitter. Maybe I just like glitter...ya think :) HA!

The Mini Fishes are stamped with Vivid! Orange ink. I love how bright Vivid! inks are. I only cut out the fishes that were swimming to the right. They all got covered with crystal glitter -- along with a touch of black glitter pen for their eyes. The only fish that is popped up on foam tape is the one pullin' the Seas the Day flag. Too cute!

This card makes me verrrrry happy! I think it's a keeper ;)

Recipe:
Stamps: A Muse Artstamps Coral; Seas the Day; Mini Fishes

It's definitely a keeper! I LOVE this card. I've always loved "scene" cards, and I love the realistic way you did the "far off" coral. Love all the glitter too. And you did a great job with the airbrush! Best, Curt
