A Muse Holiday Tags

Day 2: Holiday Tags Design Inspiration Series.

Today my Holiday Tag designs are being featured on the A Muse News Blog. Is that cool or WHAT!!!

I love getting the most out of my A Muse Notecards...so as you can see...all these tags come from just one 4-bar notecard. Yep...4 tags out of 1! A Muse 4-bar Notecards come in packages of 10...so that means you could make 40 tags from 1 package!!! Git-er-done!

Here's another cool thing about all my tags -- you can stamp or handwrite "To: From:" on the backs -- OR -- if you need a quick card -- just adhere the tag to a coordinating card base. OH YEAY BABY...I love it! Notice how I didn't punch holes on 2 of the tags? That way...if I wanna put 'em on a card...I can...or... if I wanna use 'em as tags...I'll punch the hole.

For the 1st tag: Stamp Baby Penguin, Santa Hat and Cool Yule on white cardstock -- color with Copic Markers -- sponge chalk ink for sky -- punch Martha Stewart Icicle border -- snip off top corners to create tag -- add crystal glitter on hat and icicles -- layer on red notecard -- snip corners to match -- punch hold for ribbon. Super Simple!

The 2nd tag: Stamp Lots of Flakes bl in red on red notecard -- punch icicle border -- scored & fold over and adhere -- stamp Cool Yule and Santa Hat on white cardstock scraps -- color, trim & adhere -- add crystal glitter on icicle & hat. Quick & Easy!

The 3rd tag: Ink Lots of Flakes bl stamp with chalk inks & stamp on white cardstock -- layer on red notecard -- add crystal glitter accents -- stamp Baby Penguin and Cool Yule on white cardstock scraps - color & trim -- layer sentiment on piece of notecard & trim out-- add crystal glitter accents -- adhere sentiment & penguin with foam dimensional -- add crystal glitter under penguin. Fast & Fun!

The 4th tag: Stamp Lots of Flakes bl with blue ink on white cardstock -- punch out tag with Marvy Uchida Tag punch -- adhere to larger Marvy Uchida Tag punched from red notecard (or...if you're like me...and don't have the larger tag punch...just trim it by hand) --stamp Cool Yule & Santa Hat on white cardstock scraps -- color hat with copic marker -- stamp sentiment again with blue ink -- trim words and hat -- layer on piece of notecard & trim out -- adhere to tag -- adhere hat -- apply crystal glitter -- punch hole for ribbon. DONE!

All that with just 4 stamps, 1 package of notecards, some white cardstock, 4 markers, 4 inks, a couple punches, 1 glitter, glue pen and foam tape.

Make sure and check the A Muse News Blog for more Holiday Tags from some of the other Muse's. Linda has several more days of design ideas coming. I can't wait to see them all!
