Michaela and the Giant Sunflower

This thing is HUGE!

My daughter planted sunflowers in our garden this Spring. These things got HUGE...especially one of them. Michaela is 4' 5" tall. The block wall is 6'. The sunflower...

Here it is from another angle. Amazing!! The birds have been enjoying the seeds...as well as all the other veggies & fruits in the garden. Did we think about that when planting sunflowers -- and how they might attract birds? LOL! Now it's a mad race to see who gets the ripe strawberries first...Michaela or the birds!

On the other end of the garden...we have okra. You think the birds want any of that...heck no!

Let me take you down to ground level....where all the snails & worms hang out...

Now lets see what's going on with Michaela's furry little friends.

Look how big they are getting. Michaela love her little pets :)

I've been stamping and creating like crazy getting ready for A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA classes. Sorry...I can't show you anything
...it's confidential until the event. My classes are filling fast...a couple are already full! WOOHOO!! You are gonna LOVE the new A Muse goodies being released.

Have a fun & save 4th of July!

Fun pictures Lori... love the sunflowers! We used to grow them at the elementary school I used to teach at. We had a fabulous school garden. Caught a squirrel once on one of the mammoth heads, grabbing on to either side with his hands, feet dangling, chowing down on the seeds! :) Too funny
