A Proud Mom with Warm Wishes

Just gonna brag....for a minute :)

Today my daughter was awarded Student of the Month at school. The month of September was all about "Respect." The kids that were selected for this award were nominated by teachers and what they observed over the month with the kids in their classroom.

Here is what Michaela's teacher wrote:

"Michaela is a wonderful girl. She is well-behaved in class and takes extra care when doing her work. She treats her teacher and other staff members respectfully. I enjoy having her in my class."

Hold on a minute...I need to dry my eyes! ;) Isn't that just the sweetest!! Michaela is 7 years old in 2nd grade. This is a pretty big honor for these kids! And such an honor to be the parent! :)

So how about a card...

I started out just playing around with this stamp set from Stampin'UP and ended up creating a card. It was just one of those days I was wanting to use the "puffy stuff" and ended up with this.

I almost didn't take a pic...then at the last minute before sticking it in my card stash I though...what the heck. I don't know if I really like the heart brad on there...but after I stuck it in the hole it was too late -- or maybe I was just too lazy to take it back out! lazy?! NEVER! LOL Main thing is I had fun playing around...especially with the "puffy stuff" hee hee hee!!

Happy Friday Everyone!! Hey....isn't tomorrow World Card Making Day?! YEAYA BABY!!!
