You crack me up!

Look At Us Happy 1st Timers!

This has got to be one of the funniest times ever. 4 of us girls making such a BIG DEAL out of paper "cracking!" I don't know what this is officially called...but we learned how to use thick embossing power and crack it. This is COOL!!!! We will definitely be doing this technique again! Look at all our smiling faces :) Now that there's funny I don't care who ya are!

Melissa gave us girls a "special" Halloween class. Special in the fact that she scheduled a class for us on a day we could all come together. Melissa is my up-line with Stampin' UP! Thanks SO MUCH Melissa! You're awesome!!

So who are us girls?
My Mom Ruth - doing some embossing with Melissa's helping hands ;)

My Daughter Alisha and her Mother-In-Law Anna - putting on some sparkle with embossing glitter. You can just feel the fun can't you! LOL!

Here's what we made.
I'm not going to give all the instructions for these projects - just a few details. Everything was created using Stampin' UP! products of course :) As always they're SO MUCH cuter in person!

Here is the crackle card -- the highlight of the morning! Not only did we learn about thick embossing powder, but some of us got to use a stamping wheel for the first time. And look at the new little clips! Totally CUTE!! We used VersaMark all over the image and covered with the thick embossing powder. You have to repeat this process like 3 or 4 times to get a thick coating. I don't know why they call the powder "powder" cause it's more like chunky sugar. But it melts down like glass!

The votive candle holder is a piece of double-sided designer paper wrapped around. The clear button was attached with Crystal Effects.

The B on the Boo card is a large monogram stamp, VersaMark ink and black embossing powder. Of course I managed to make a total mess of my card. Don't ask what I did...I just did! ha! The O's were stamped and embossed the same. Cut out & attach to card base. Add some ribbons.

How cute is this mummy! Stamped and then colored with Sahara Sand Marker. Spread some Liquid Glue around (not on the eyes) and cover with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Attach the google eyes with liquid glue. Let dry and then cut out. The mummy is attached to a Metal Edge Tag that we rubbed with Black Ink using a Sponge wedge.

This Happy Halloween card has the Sanded Background stamped on the card base using Going Gray Classic Ink. All the images were stamped using Whisper White Craft Ink and embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Glitter Powder. And another one of those CUTE little clips!

If anyone has questions about any of these project feel free to e-mail me.
